Former longtime Daily News publisher John Paul Jones dies at age 100

Known to friends as “Jack,” Jones served as publisher of The Daily News for 34 years, the same publication his family has owned and operated for 134 years. He was also known for starting a basketball camp and for his philanthropic efforts.
