Bartlett passes $180.9M budget, increases property tax
“Now we have to produce,” said Bartlett Mayor Keith McDonald, seen here in May. “We plan on doing that. We have a great team. I know they’ll do some really great things for us.” (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian file)
The new tax rate of $1.75 per $100 of assessed value is an increase over the certified tax rate of $1.51 set following reappraisal. The certified rate accounts for the increase in property values seen in this year’s reappraisal of property for tax purposes.
