Quarterback Seth Henigan has broken several program and conference records in his four-year career.
He passed former East Carolina quarterback Holton Ahlers for the most career passing yards and completions in the American Athletic Conference during last Thursday’s 34-24 win over Tulane in New Orleans.
Those records are now added to an extensive list of program and conference records Henigan holds.
With one game remaining in his college career, the Tigers’ winningest quarterback in program history still has one more conference record he can reach.
Memphis won’t officially know which bowl game it will compete in until Sunday, Dec. 8, but Henigan has a solid chance at breaking one more record on his way out.
He is two touchdowns shy of tying former Houston quarterback Clayton Tune’s AAC record of 104 career passing touchdowns. Henigan already owns the program record.
The Daily Memphian has tracked Henigan’s progress toward different statistical milestones each week.
Henigan’s stat line at Tulane last Thursday: Completed 22-of-29 passes for 218 passing yards and two touchdowns. He also had 11 carries for 10 yards.
