Three vie for open Collierville alderman seat
A December runoff is possible
John Worley decided not to seek another term on the Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen, and three candidates would like to replace him in the Position 3 office.
Chad Lindsay, Elizabeth Parr and Nick Robbins are vying for position held by Worley. While the election is on the Nov. 5 ballot, it’s possible the elected alderman is not decided until December.
If no candidate in the November general election receives more than 50% of the vote, the two earning the largest percentages will participate in a Dec. 10 runoff.
All of the candidates agree the town is excelling in many areas. They support public safety and education remaining a priority, and funded appropriately. However, the three had some points where they differed slightly.
