Collierville High TV mayoral candidate forum canceled

BullTV, a monthly show hosted by David Pickler on the Collierville High instructional TV station, will not highlight Collierville’s mayoral candidates this year.

Leadership Collierville is also not hosting a forum for the Board of Mayor and Alderman or school board races before the Nov. 5 election. In years past, those were held at Collierville High.

The TV show is a victim of uncertainty about whether filming it on a public school campus posed a problem. There were questions regarding whether it constituted campaigning on school property.
