Amy Eoff, a member of the Germantown Board of Education, will serve in her final meeting on Thursday, ending an eight-year tenure with a focus on serving students, teachers and families.
“It’s a mix of feelings,” Eoff, a former chair and vice chair of the board, said earlier this week. “... I’m still so very passionate about our public schools and our students. This is not an easy thing to stop doing.”
Eoff, 50, was elected in 2016 by earning 57% of votes over Mindy Fischer. In 2020, she was unopposed for reelection.
Although still passionate, she knows it’s time to step aside. Both her children have graduated from GMSD.
