U of M raises tuition
This hike follows an increase last year when in-state tuition rose 3.71% and out-of-state tuition rose 4.1%. That was the largest increase in eight years, but it was eclipsed by the increase approved Wednesday. (The Daily Memphian file)
University of Memphis President Bill Hardgrave would not speak to a reporter after the meeting when asked about the tuition increases.
