Collierville Fitness Center was acquired by the town about a year ago, and the suburb’s leaders heard an update last Thursday, June 12, regarding the operations since it became a town-managed entity.
Collierville Fitness Center is inside the H.W. Cox Community Center. The athletic equipment and free weights were previously part of the DeSoto Athletic Club, which ran operations from 2004 until 2024 under a pair of 10-year contracts. In December 2023, DAC informed the town it would not extend the agreement.
Collierville leaders took over the exercise option in July 2024.
