No one has ever referred to the FedEx St. Jude Championship as golf’s “fifth major.” Yet Sunday’s final day in Memphis had all the trappings of one of the sport’s marquee events.
A star-studded leaderboard. Sweaty-palmed pressure so intense you could feel it. And in the end, a worthy champion for the ages.
And the aged.
