Anden Quinn has put a statistical hurtin’ on every team he’s faced this season. But Lakeland Prep’s senior wide receiver put an actual hurtin’ on his own head coach.
“We were warming up before the Bolivar game (Aug. 29),” said Lions coach Tyler White, glancing down at the uncomfortable-looking cast on his wrist. “He was tracking ball in a defensive drill running full speed, and I had my back turned.
“He ran into me. It happened so fast; I hit the ground and immediately knew something was wrong. He didn’t even say sorry.”
