Thanks to the stellar efforts of their bulldog — along with a highly-commendable performance from a young pup — the Memphis University School golf team is in a familiar position at the end of September.

Junior Brantley Moore fired a 7-under par 64 Tuesday at the Links at Audubon as the Owls captured the Division 2-AA West Region title. Their 3-under total of 271 should mark them as a strong contender for the championship when play begins at Sevierville Golf Club on Oct. 6.
