Not everyone is happy with Bartlett’s plan to save Quail Ridge

While many Bartlett residents are pleased with last week’s news that the city hopes to buy and resurrect Quail Ridge Golf Course, not everyone is thrilled.

The suburb announced a new initiative for a Public Safety and Greenspace Preservation TIF, designed to improve traffic safety, protect public green space, and strengthen the local economy.

Part of the green space aspect of Bartlett’s plan is to “support the preservation of Quail Ridge Golf Course” at 4055 Altruria Road, owned by the Wilder family. The golf course closed about a year ago.
