Collierville looks to extend Winchester Road through Thompson site

Collierville wants to update its major road plan, and one of the proposals is extending Winchester Road farther east.

The major road plan maps out the location of roads and the route of future ones based on projected growth. Sometimes applicants will propose a change alongside a development. Collierville staff is initiating these adjustments to the plan, and the Planning Commission approved them last week.

Winchester dead ends southwest of Town Square, east of South Byhalia Road at Cowan Road. The plans call to extend it to U.S. 72.
