Bartlett mayor goes ‘back to the ‘80s’ for annual State of the City address

The future so bright for Bartlett, Mayor David Parsons has gotta wear shades.
Parsons tapped into an ‘80s vibe — including the 40-year-old Timbuk 3 song — for his annual State of the City address on Thursday, March 5, at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center.
The fun night included other 1980s staples like “Knight Rider,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Miami Vice,” “Back to the Future” and even a reference to “The Price Is Right.”
