Former Bellevue pastor enters hospice care

Steve Gaines, the former senior pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church, began receiving hospice care earlier this week, the church informed its congregation Wednesday afternoon.

The church asked for prayers while the Gaines family deals with the latest health update.

“This is obviously a very difficult time for Steve and his family,” an email from Pastor Ben Mandrell said. “Because of that, the family has requested not to have any visitors so they can focus on spending meaningful time together and caring for him in these days.”
