Daily Jigsaw: Ballet and Mempops
Maria Talavera watches her 6-year-old daughter dance every day around the house, so when she saw the notice for an open house at Ballet Memphis Saturday, she and Aneley headed to Midtown.
The Talaveras were part of an estimated 200 or more who came to the open house to find out what Ballet Memphis offers for the young and old.
“She likes to dance in the house. Every time she’s dancing, she tries to see the videos and the choreography,” Maria Talavera said. “So when I saw this on Facebook, I said, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s a good place to go and see what happens.’”
