Jaykwon Walton, a 6-foot-7 wing for the Tigers in 2023-24, has another year of eligibility remaining but plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Dainja, a 6-foot-9, 255-pound center, averaged 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game for the Fighting Illini last season.
Hardaway, a four-star prospect in the 2023 class, averaged 2.3 points in 8.2 minutes per game through the 30 games he appeared in for the Tigers this past season.Related story:

“I think for us, moving forward, it’s always gonna be portal heavy,” Hardaway said. “(But) I think that you still have to get your young guys, for sure, because you wanna be able to have a base of guys growing together.”
