Collierville made it official Wednesday, naming Molly Mehner the next town administrator. James Lewellen will retire from his post after 27 years leading the suburb.
Any offer won’t be official until the Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen appoints her in a meeting.
Collierville interviewed two candidates for town administrator last week. One withdrew over the weekend, leaving Molly Mehner as the lone candidate under consideration. James Lewellen will soon retire after 27 years with the town.
Collierville’s town administrator is retiring eventually, but not in the immediate future.
