Collierville moves closer to naming next town administrator
Collierville’s Town Administrator has seen the suburb grow over his 27-year tenure. Less than 15,000 people called the suburb home in 1990, but when Lewellen arrived in 1995, that was changing. Today nearly 52,000 reside in the suburb. (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian file)
Collierville interviewed two candidates for town administrator last week. One withdrew over the weekend, leaving Molly Mehner as the lone candidate under consideration. James Lewellen will soon retire after 27 years with the town.
