The West Cancer Foundation has provided free wigs since 2020, but it recently added a dedicated space where cancer patients can try on a variety of styles in a private, salon-type setting.
Over the years, late Daily Memphian food and dining editor Jennifer Biggs supported efforts by The Kindness Revolution to “pay it forward.” But now the nonprofit is returning the favor.
More than 65 men took off Saturday, Sept. 30 from West Cancer Center, for the 13th annual 525-mile bike trek in five days to Rosemary Beach, Florida. The trip is a fundraiser for West Cancer Foundation.
The “West Fight On” running and cycling fundraiser to benefit West Cancer Foundation is set for Saturday, Sept. 10, at Shelby Farms Park.
The gifts build on projects West Cancer Foundation started in 2020 with the University of Memphis and UTHSC.
