Alabama Shakes will be first concert at new Grind City Amp

Alabama Shakes is the first music act scheduled to hit the stage at the new Grind City Amp.

Grind City Amp, to be located at Grind City Brewing Co. in Uptown/North Memphis, is set to open in April 2026. The brewery and new venue are located at 76 Waterworks Ave.

Alabama Shakes are a Grammy Award-winning, platinum blues-rock band that formed in Athens, Alabama. Brittany Howard is the lead singer and guitarist. Heath Fogg is a guitarist and Zac Cockrell is the bass player.
