Some stunning images shot by local residents of wildlife and the natural splendor of Shelby County will be featured in next year’s Tennessee Wildlife Federation calendar.

Photography from Bartlett resident Becky Ross McRae and from Allen Sparks and Dr. David Sloas of Cordova was selected for the calendar after the trio were winners of the TWF’s 11th Annual Wildlife and Nature Photo Contest.

McRae, a retired art teacher who worked with Memphis City Schools for 27 years, took first place in the landscape category while Sloas and Sparks each earned monthly feature spots.
