As Memphis works to strengthen its reputation as a tech hub, one local nonprofit has been building that future from the ground up.

Tech901 is a Memphis-based nonprofit focused on job training in the technology sector. Since its founding 10 years ago, the organization has trained more than 2,500 Memphians for careers in IT, cybersecurity, data analytics and more.

“Tech901 is an organization that helps Memphians launch IT careers when they’ve made that decision,” said executive director Aaron Lamey. “Whether they’re fresh out of high school or pivoting mid-career, we help lay out a clear path with training, certifications and job placement.”
