Lausanne Collegiate School is embarking on a multi-phase campus transformation that promises to redefine its spaces for the next generation of students.

The first phase, now underway, involves a new, $27 million upper-school building for grades 9-12. The project also includes the renovation of an existing, 13,000-square-foot building, which was constructed in 2005, and will add 38,000 square feet of new space. The project is scheduled to be completed in March 2026 and has already been 50% funded by a capital campaign. 

“This isn’t about increasing enrollment; we’re already close to capacity,” said Stuart McCathie, who has served as Lausanne’s headmaster since 2005. “It’s about creating space for programs in high demand such as STEAM, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, cybersecurity, design, and expanded arts offerings like musical theater and dance. These programs benefit students across all grade levels.”
