Southwestern-style restaurant coming to Germantown

A month after Asaderos Mexican Grill closed its Germantown location in July, another Mexican-influenced restaurant is planned for the site at the southwest corner of Polar Pike and Forest Hill-Irene Road.

Wolf River Hospitality Group plans to open Rio Lobo Cantina, a southwestern-style restaurant, said Kirk Cotham, marketing and finance executive for the restaurant company.

Even though one Mexican restaurant recently closed in the building south of the railroad tracks, Cotham said those who ate there had positive reviews and the business had a small following of fans.
