Profitability of Memphis banks falls in Q2, still exceeds national average
The rankings of Memphis-based banks by total assets has changed slightly from the previous quarter, with First Horizon, Independent Bank and Landmark Community Bank again rounding out the top three spots. Commercial banks and savings institutions nationally saw a decrease in net income of 70% from a year ago, according to a new report by the FDIC.
