Millington expands mental health services

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and the City of Millington is offering a permanent, free space for mental health services benefiting the North Shelby County community.
The suburb is partnering with Alliance Healthcare Services to address the growing mental health epidemic impacting many local communities.
The city hosted an event Monday, Sept. 28, at 8133 Wilkinsville Road where they have provided Alliance with a renovated house to establish a wellness clinic.
