One Beale developer combines its two Hyatt hotels

Officials on Tuesday, Aug. 12, approved combining two payment-in-lieu-of-tax incentives for Carlisle Corp. so the developer can merge its two One Beale hotels: Hyatt Centric and Caption by Hyatt.

The Downtown Memphis Commission Center City Revenue Finance Corp. approved combining the two PILOTs as well as putting the two hotels under one ownership group, 33 Beale Street Hotel Co.
