Shelby County’s six suburbs had 3,294 home sales in 2025, the same number as in 2024, according to year-end statistics Memphis Area Association of Realtors released last week.

Shelby County has been pretty consistent across in such figures. The Memphis area doesn’t see major dips or spikes, said Tim O’Hare, MAAR’s new president. He said sales have followed that trend for decades.

“It’s pretty flat, which has tracked for the most part for this greater Mid-South area,” O’Hare said.
