After a kitchen fire, a closure and new ownership, the former Bob’s Barksdale Restaurant in Midtown is close to reopening.
New owner Ryan Glosson, who bought the popular breakfast spot with Bryant and Heather Bain last September, said the goal is to open in March.
When word spread that Bob’s Barksdale might not reopen after a fire forced it to close last June, there was a cry of public lament. The Bains and Glosson, who also own Bain Barbecue, didn’t want to see the Midtown institution disappear and reached out to owner Beth Henry.
Thus began a new chapter for the diner.
