‘Welcome home’ to Cxffeeblack’s new, larger location

On Bowen Avenue near National Street, a new scent hangs in the air. Not just roasted coffee beans, but an invitation.

Cxffeeblack’s new flagship cafe has opened its doors in a newly restored building in Mitchell Heights, just steps away from the building that once housed the brand’s Anti Gentrification Coffee Club. The move is both an opening and a declaration; more than four years in the making, anchored by a belief that coffee — especially Black coffee — can call a community back to itself.

For people who live and work here, the shop isn’t simply a place to grab a coffee.
