Forget the cracker; Lucky is home and this bird prefers ribs
Jennifer Hobson (left) feeds her umbrella cockatoo Lucky a piece of barbecue ribs Monday, Sept. 28, 2020. Bob Mumford (middle) and Chuck Wilson (right), both from Two Broke Bartenders, drove the bird back from Freeport, Florida, last week. Lucky, who had been rehomed to a sanctuary earlier this year, returned to the Hobson home due to flooding in Florida. (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian)
Lucky the cockatoo moved to a sanctuary for exotic birds in April, but Hurricane Sally drove him back to Memphis.
