Beale St. club among latest health department closures

Three more businesses have been closed by the Health Department and must submit plans to reopen.
Based on inspections done Sunday, Dec. 6, the Health Department has closed The Blac Betty, 1331 Thomas; Statuz Club, 4672 American Way, and Tin Roof, 315 Beale St.
The businesses were cited for numerous violations of Health Directive 15, which outlines the conditions under which bars and restaurants are currently allowed to operate.
They will remain closed 14 days.
