The Shelby County Assessor’s Office is temporarily stopping walk-in visitation at both of its locations until further notice as a precaution over COVID-19.
The Assessor’s Office service representatives can still be reached by phone at 901-222-7001 or its virtual online chat feature at http://www.assessormelvinburgess.com from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
