The city of Germantown is distributing signs and masks Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, to remind residents to wear face coverings to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

The effort is part of a larger campaign called “Germantown Fighting Together,” and will emphasize proactive steps to fight against COVID-19. The masked horses around the city are also part of the campaign.

The distribution will take place Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. at Germantown Performing Arts Center. Residents are asked to enter from Neshoba Road. When they drive up and pop their trunks, city staff will place masks and a sign inside.

The giveaway will take place as supplies last and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
