Davy Crockett golf course could give way to community orchard
According to the city, 30,000 rounds of golf a year are played at Galloway Golf Course (shown), compared to 3,000 rounds at Davy Crockett Golf Course in Frayser. The tentative plan by the city parks and neighborhoods division includes mountain-bike trails around the borders of the 18-hole golf course and walking trails with workout equipment.
