West Collierville Middle School names new principal
Tyler Salyer, principal of Collierville Elementary, is headed to West Collierville Middle School.
Superintendent Gary Lilly made the announcement Wednesday morning, and Salyer’s first day as principal is July 1. He succeeds Beth Robbins, who is transitioning to Central Office as the data and assessment supervisor.
Salyer has been the principal of Collierville Elementary for four years. Prior to that, he spent four years as an assistant principal at Tara Oaks Elementary and seven years with legacy Shelby County Schools in teaching and administrative positions.
The district will begin looking for a Collierville Elementary principal and the position is open to internal and external applicants.
