DA adds charges for teen suspect in MPD shooting
Shelby County District Attorney’s Office has added additional charges of second-degree murder and reckless homicide for the 17-year-old suspect involved in a shooting last week that killed a MPD officer. (The Daily Memphian file)
The charges were added in light of news from the office Wednesday that MPD Officer Joseph “Rusty” McKinney was likely killed by friendly fire.
