County budget shifts funding as part of approval process
After years of discussion about county funding of a city of Memphis function and service — not to mention a $35 million MATA plan for overhauling the city’s bus system that has sat on a shelf for years — the County Commission this time around put up $1.3 million in operating budget funding for MATA.
