Happy Friday, Memphis. It’s Oct. 24, and if you missed the Memphis Grizzlies’ season-opening excitement on Wednesday, you’ve got two more chances to catch home games this weekend. Ja Morant and Co. play the Miami Heat tonight and the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

There’s also a big-deal home football game on Saturday morning as the Memphis Tigers play the South Florida Bulls, a team that also really wants to win a conference title.

And there’s plenty more weekend fun in our To-Do List.

Sobering news: Suffice to say, the owner of The Station is probably not in high spirits right now

Whiteside arrested on new charges: A former youth pastor and coach has been arrested on new federal charges.

IP lays off IT: Memphis-based International Paper is outsourcing its IT to India.

Superintendent fight drags on: A Shelby County judge scolded attorneys Thursday on both sides of Marie Feagins’ lawsuit.

Skate and slice: Two beloved Memphis businesses are making comebacks

A putter idea: The City of Bartlett has a plan to save the city’s only golf course.

Don’t stop retrieving: Dog parents can stop hounding the City of Millington for a new dog park

Coming up Rose: The No. 4 most memorable game in our Coach Cal Countdown was a loss — but, in a way, also a win

Bao Toan on a budget: If you’re trying to save money, go to Bao Toan in Crosstown Concourse during lunch.
