Raleigh to get new farmers market and park
State Rep. Antonio Parkinson and Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland announced plans Monday, July 29, for a new farmers market and community park that will be located on Austin Peay Highway in Raleigh. “Our goal is not to only have a farmers market operating here, but also distribute food to other communities that don’t have access,” said Parkinson, whose district includes Raleigh.
