New faces, same high standard for Tigers women’s soccer team

With multiple NCAA Tournament appearances in their recent past, the University of Memphis women’s soccer team is used to making history at the end of the season.
This year, though, is noteworthy without the first ball being kicked.
The Tigers’ roster features 14 freshmen, 11 sophomores, two juniors and a lone senior forward, Flavie Dube’. It’s just the second time in program history there’s been only one senior — the other being in 2013 — and the first time there have been fewer than five upperclassmen.
