Memphis, which is No. 40 in the NET rankings and No. 37 in KenPom, can’t afford to slip up to Wichita State if it hopes to stay on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said Steven Adams has not started 5-on-5 play while he recovers from a knee injury he sustained on Jan. 22. Adams is not expected to play Thursday in Philadelphia.
