Utah State has already shown it’s not afraid to try for a fake punt or fake field goal, and Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield said “unusual stuff” is likely to happen during bowl games. 

“I’ve been waiting for this game since the schedule came out,” Dillon Brooks said. “I’m happy to play on Christmas. I’ve always wanted to play on Christmas. ... Everyone as a collective group has been waiting for this game.”

The Grizzlies grabbed 19 offensive rebounds and scored 72 paint points in a blowout victory over the Suns on Friday night.
