Dick Fadgen was a former U.S. champion swimmer who founded Memphis State University Swim Club. The pool at the university’s new Mike Rose Aquatics Center is scheduled to be named in his honor.

Supporters of the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors take to social media. Some wonder why Steven Adams didn’t play more minutes Saturday night; others ask, “Why can’t we just talk about the hoops?”

The skies have been blessedly clear in San Francisco since the Grizzlies arrived here a few days ago. A gloomy fog has settled over the series instead. It wasn’t supposed to be that way, and still doesn’t have to be.
