Sam Brumfield spent two years at Northwest Mississippi Community College to start his career. He played the 2023 season at Middle Tennessee before spending last season at Virginia Tech and will finish with the Tigers.

“If you want to watch golf, great, we’ve got that,” the tournament’s executive director said. “But also if you don’t, I bet you still have a good time.”

With the victory, Memphis took the first four games in the series and claimed its third consecutive series win since the All-Star break.

The Tigers now have 13 games in place for each spot on their 2025-26 nonconference schedule.
