Who would win a local celebrity sports golf tournament? Penny is the odds-on favorite, but there's plenty of other talent – athletic or otherwise – to choose from.

The WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational has become a premiere destination for some of the best golfers in the world, including Justin Thomas, who announced Tuesday he will play in Memphis. 

Brooks Koepka, the current No. 1-ranked golfer in the world; Justin Thomas, the No. 7 player in the WGC rankings; and Tommy Fleetwood of England committed Tuesday to the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational later this month.

Tiger Woods has never played the PGA Tour stop in Memphis. But the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational could provide a perfect match for fans to see Tiger play in person. 

U.S. Open champ Gary Woodland, who gained fame earlier this year while playing a hole with a special needs golfer, has committed to play in the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational next month.

Two more of the world's Top 10 golfers have committed to the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational as the tournament field continues to grow.

Participants for the World Golf Championships tournament at TPC Southwind started to commit this week with Bubba Watson and Matt Kuchar annoucing they will play in the FedEx St. Jude Invitational.
