On the football field, there’s little that Yasir Muhammad can’t handle.
But put him in front of a microphone in Germantown High’s library with family and friends and teammates watching and it’s a bit of a different story.
“Going into it, I didn’t think I was going to cry,” Muhammad said. “So obviously, it’s a very important day. It was a different feeling when I got up here and experienced it and took it all in. I’m blessed.”
Ryan Silverfield ‘very pleased’ with Tigers’ signing day
Muhammad is indeed blessed; his talents on the field have landed him a scholarship at UNLV. He made it official Wednesday on the first of two National Signing Days for football players.
