Spring Fling 2025: St. George’s standout looks to finish strong
At the recent Division 2-A regional qualifying meet, Kimbriel Winfield turned the track at Harding Academy into her own personal playground.
Winfield, a senior at St. George’s, will be one of the busiest local competitors at Spring Fling this week after qualifying in four events for Wednesday’s Division 2-A state meet. She won both the 100 and 200-meter dashes, finishing in 12.10 and 25.11 respectively.
And she’ll be defending both of her hurdles championships from 2024; Winfield qualified in the 100 with a time of 13.76 and the 300 in 45.22.
