Newcomer Joshua Huggins brings tremendous potential to Briarcrest hoops

New Briarcrest basketball player Joshua Huggins has many qualities. A lack of confidence is not one of them.
“I’m very polished,” he said. “I can guard 1 through 5, play 1 through 5. Really, I’m a coach’s dream. Whatever a coach needs me to do, I can get it done for them.”
Huggins’ confidence in his abilities on the court isn’t borne of arrogance. On the contrary, he’s polite, soft-spoken and exceedingly mature for his age. After a dunk in a recent summer-league game, he simply dropped his head and hustled back down court to d-up.
